Ghanaian dancehall art and Black Entertainment Television (BET) award winner Stonebwoy known as Livingstone Etse Satekla, shares some fun moment working with an Ethiopian artiste.
The Baafira hit maker recorded his song with Haile Roots, in the Coke studio in Kenya.
Stonebwoy recorded with ‘Bado Neber’ artiste who has released series of good songs for his motherland.
Haile Roots did his version of Stonebwoy’s ‘Go Higher’ song in Ethiopian language with a live band performance. When Blagogee.com, asked his road manager Mohammed Siddi via Whatsapp to quizzed Stone his experience recording with Haile and how did he felt recording in the Coke studio.
He said I got to know more about Ethiopian culture from music down to food shared different recording skills and above all found an Ethiopian brother to record with.
He added that things are done more professionally compared to the traditional recording method back in our studios.
The Coke Studio is shot at Film Studios in Nairobi, Kenya. The main target is teens but the show will also appeal to adults. The production features African artistes of great repute, and Stonebwoy is one of them to be featured in this season’s.
Ghanaian Rapper, EL, who won the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) “Artiste of the Year” 2016 also got featured days ago on the same set.
