A viral video revealed a man by name Jeremiah claiming to be one of the people who helped push hiplife legend, Obrafour into the limelight has rejected his idea of organizing a concert for the people of Taifa.
In the video, Jeremiah who looked very pissed revealed how Obrafour once ignored him when he tried convincing him to do something for Taifa, since that is where he started from.
Obrafour and his team visited these angry youth as he expressed his continue support to them and promise to share onestage with them on his maiden “Back To Taifa Concert”.
For their part, Mr. Jeremiah pleaded with Obrafour and promised to show their love and support to him ahead of his 19th October 2019 concert.
The Back to Taifa Concert will see Obrafour treat patrons to classics from 1999 till date. Notable guest performers include Tinny, Keche, Guru, A.I Pappy Kojo, Tic, Kwaw Kesse, Joey B, Ras Kuuku, Edem and a host of others.
Since the launch of his career in 1999, the rapper known to his mother as Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko has served as ready reference for the sound of hiplife and wholesome lyricism. Obrafour is set to announce his new album Obrafoforo this year. The CD follows other masterpieces as Pae Mu Ka, Ntetee Pa, Asem Sebe, Tofa (Time out for Adhession), Execution Diary, Asem Beba Dabi, and Heavy.
