Ghanaian artists continue to hoist the flag of Ghana high but, it is rather unfortunate that when [Gh] artists go to other countries the reception is nothing to write home about.

Accra-based Television host on Amansan Television Kwesi Dope known for his flagship afternoon program christened “BoomBox” has revealed that Nigerians don’t understand the Ghanaian genre of music.

According to him, this is not the first time such an incident has happened in Nigeria. He recalled that, when Zylofon Media was unveiling their outfit our artists had the same awkward reception, which went viral on social media platforms.

Known in real life as Obie William, he continued that, an artist like Stonebwoy, is never moved because he has seen it all on great stages he has performed.
