Video: Akon Affirms Konvict Music Never Made A Dime From Sarkodie

Multiple award-winning artist Akon has affirmed that his record label “Konvict Music” never made a dime from Sarkodie.

Akon asserted at a press confab in Accra, that Africa artists signed way back onto his label “Konvict Music” were signed to gain exposure, record deals et al.

According to him, the record label never got a dime from Sarkodie and other African artists signed onto his label.

“Our job is to try to give and help people expecting nothing back in return…we never made a penny or dime from Sarkodie and he can tell you…” he said.

He added that Sarkodie is still my brother and I [Akon] continues to aid him and i’m happy for him [Sarkodie].

Currently, in Ghana, as he’s set to unveil his album 2020 among other projects.
