Sound engineer DDT has disclosed that artistes who are not good and also underground pay up their studio fees than the established ones.
“ Hardly do established pay up their studio fees but the underground pay up their fees all the time. “This is because the underground artiste or the artiste who is not song wants to see to it that their works are done probably but established artistes thinks he is doing the sound engineer a favour and decides not to pay you,” he said.
To DDT who has worked with the likes of Kumi Guitar, Screwface, Wutah, KK Fosu and Rose Adjei his plan is to help the young ones who have the talent but not have the means to push their career to the next level.
Real name Elijah Nortey Thompson, DDT who has been nominated for producer of the year at this year’s Ghana Music Awards UK said he is winning the awards hands down.
“ I know other producers also worked in the year under review but I stand tall among them,” he said.
