Samini who is a big fan of DKB, bought five tickets and went to the venue with his team to have their ribs dislocated with laughter.
The African Dancehall King over the years has given his pub [Dancestardam] in Dansoman a suburb of Accra to Ghanaian comedians to stage their hilarious art to customers.
Samini was wowed with attendance at the National Theatre and also encourage Ghanaian comedians to imitate the same and also make a history.
According to him “It’s been a wonderful experience. I’m a big fan of Dkb. I’m somebody that believes in local comedy and I have seen him try to push it singlehandedly for a very long time.”
He therefore called on all the local comedians to emulate DKB so that the comedy scene can be vibrant.
He added that finally if he has been able to get his own platform with a packed venue, all I can say is congratulations to DKB and the fact that, other local comedians can emulate this, so we can have a vibrant comedy scene,”
Samini told GhanaGist.Com at the National Theatre after the “Point of View” Comedy Show with DKB.
