Rosemond Brown, Mzgee, Prince Yawson Unveil For “OBAAMU” Movie

Yet to be shot movie dubbed Obaamu at the Accra Tourist Information Centre unveiled cast for the much-awaited movie.

The press unveiling of the cast witnessed scores of industry players veteran actors gracing the hugely invested fund in the upcoming set to shot movie.

Speaking at the press launch,  director [David A Masterwille] described this movie project as a script he has written for many years and this is the right time to embark shooting of ‘Obaamu’.

When quizzed about the inspiration behind the movie? He said: “there’s this coconut seller who use to sleep at people’s veranda at Madina a suburb of Accra”.

“As a scriptwriter by profession,  I was enthused about the man’s story which I asked him scores of questions and he shared his story with me,” he said.

The yet-to-be-shot starred veteran actor Prince Yawson, MzGee,  Mamley Djangmah, Rosemond Brown, Bex among others.

Outspoken actress Rosemond Brown, who happens to be a qualify cast thanked the director of the movie for casting her for the lead role in the movie ‘Obaamu’ as she described this as a tough task but will put up his best in the movie.

For her part, broadcast journalist Mzgee, thanked the director for casting her for the movie [Obamuu].

Synopsis…
