Photos+Videos: Ebony Reigns Laid To Rest As Ghanaians, Celebrities, Fans Weep

 

The burial of late Reggae and Dancehall singer Ebony Reigns known in real life as Priscilla Poku Kwarteng has been laid to rest peacefully.

The well-attended funeral held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra witnessed scores of fans, celebrities, former and present government dignitaries paid their last respect to the Maame Hw3 hitmaker.

Scores of fans wept uncontrollably when Ebony was laid in State others tried to imitate her style of fashion at the burial grounds.

The “Maame Hw3” scraf and spectacles were the other of the day as many tried to project how influential Ebony was when she was alive.

Tributes read on the day includes  Ebony’s Senior High School Mamfe Methodist Girls, Ruff Town Records, Musician Union Of Ghana, Parents among others.

The painful burial of the 21-year-old singer witnessed business booming for traders as Calenders, books, handkerchief, other products were sold at the statehouse.

The funeral gathered all showbiz fraternities including  Kofi Adjololo, Bukom Banku, Wanlov Kubolor, Afia Schwarzenegger, Mzbel, M.anifest, Ayisem, Edem, Stonebwoy, Samini veteran actors, and actress were present to paid their last respect.

Ebony met her untimely death on Thursday 8th February 2018 after the Jeep she was travelling in run into a VIP bus near Mankraso in the Ashanti region. Her friend Franky Kuri and Atsu Vondee, a military officer who posed as a bodyguard also lost.
