The much-patronised event saw industry players thronged at the Labadi Beach hotel to witness finalist who displayed rich Ghanaian culture at the event.
The night saw 10 beautiful and elegant ladies representing their various regions as they displayed their culture to patrons and judges.
Akpene Diata Hoggar, the rep from Brong-Ahafo Region of Ghana was left joyous as she emerged the winner of the 2018 edition of the Miss Universe Ghana pageant.
The newly crowned queen on social media posted a picture of herself as she captioned ‘Positive Visualization’.
“…I’m grateful to everyone for their immense love and support. This is just the beginning for me and as I represent Ghana at Miss Universe, I pray it doesn’t stop. And to every young, you can do ANYTHING with positivity, perseverance and hard work Love…” she revealed.
Miss Hoggar, will represent this year’s Miss Universe international pageant slated for December at Thailand and she is also currently the proud owner of a new car and mouth-watering prizes.
The runner-up to Akpene Diata Hoggar was Vanessa Tekor Akuetteh, a budding paralegal and a model, who mounted the stage on behalf of the Western Region.
The event was organized by Maltz Promotions, led by Menaye Donkor, who is a former winner as King Promise and Adina thrilled patrons at the venue [ Labadi Beach Hotel].
