Kwaku Ghartey Talks About Fashion Plagiarism As Jay Ray Unveils New Shop At Osu Oxford Street

CEO of Jay Ray Fashion known in real life as Kwaku Ghartey at the launch of his just-ended new fashion hub located at Osu Oxford Street a suburb of Accra has registered his displeasure when it comes to fashion plagiarism in Ghana.

Mr. Ghartey at the colorful launch of his new shop shared his take about fashion in Ghana and advised fashion designers to bring out their creativity and desist from fashion plagiarism.

Speaking with host Kwesi Omega, he affirmed that fashion plagiarism in Ghana has become a norm in the country and must not be entertained.

He continued that, it’s not right for a fashion designer to cull a design from a designer but rather create something unique for the world to know about your own brand you’ve established.

The CEO known for styling top-notch celebrities in Ghana at the unveiling released his 2020 collections on a mini-runway on the night.

The night witnessed former VGMA Artist Of the Year and brand ambassador for Jay Ray Fashion Joe Mettle, Customers and invited guest graced the event.
