Organised by Malz Promotions in partnership with Kirusa Ghana Limited, the Miss Universe Ghana contest seeks to discover the most poised, intelligent, confident and gorgeous Ghanaian woman who can represent the country on the Miss Universe international stage.
“It’s been a long journey but I’m extremely proud of how these young ladies have been co-operative. They have worked extremely hard to be here and I believe we just have to continue to support them. We are expecting something different this year because we’ve taken it upon ourselves to revive the brand and so far, it’s been hectic but great. So far, I’m very proud and impressed… I can’t wait to announce the winner to participate in Miss Universe pageant internationally,” she averred.
Miss Universe is an annual international beauty pageant held over a three-week period in selected host countries. Each participating country hosts a competition to crown a winner who will then go on to represent her country in the international competition.
Judges for this year’s event are Tessa Brix, Sean Guy, Chester Annie, Giovanna Nicole and Michelle Attoh.
The winner, according to organisers, gets a brand-new car and a year-contract with a modeling agency in Italy.
